The Perfect Mix of Science and Communication
"Hello, I'm Iben Miller, Clinical Science Director at Blueskin. I am proud to be based at the Blueskin/Sanos international headquarters in Copenhagen/Soeborg, Denmark. As a Medical Doctor and board-certified Dermatologist, my journey in dermatology has been both fulfilling and impactful.
My academic background includes a PhD and postdoctoral research focused on co-morbidities in Inflammatory Dermatological Diseases, particularly psoriasis and hidradenitis suppurativa. This research has led to over 40 publications in peer-reviewed international journals, contributing to the advancement of dermatological science.
In addition to my academic pursuits, I have gained valuable experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in Medical Affairs. My passion for scientific communication is reflected in my diverse portfolio, which includes academic writing, speaking at congresses, hosting podcasts, and serving as the scientific editor of 'The Dermatologist’s Desk' (Hudlægens Bord) for the public in Denmark.
